This is all the source says about the deputy after the shooting.

the deputy who fired the shot is "shaken" by the incident, but uninjured.

Of course being "shaken" fails in comparison to getting shot in the face so I'll withhold my sympathy.

No kidding... Frankly I'm more concerned for his friends and their well being from seeing a friend getting shot in the face by law enforcement.
