ATS Chat is No More

the human condition makes a real time communication venue on ats difficult...

It is almost impossible to be fair in a two dimensional platform of communication..

Just ask a mod..

More people get butt hurt on the internet unintentionally or due to mental illness than ever...

Ats may be concerned of liability issues.. I remember chat, and being very misunderstood on many occasions, not to mention I witnessed mods abusing power in chat, I wish I was making it up. Ats chat was like the wild west.. Then people started using skype as a alternative etc. It was weird and kinda rebel vs the authority crap..

Another chat room will prob. find the same fate.. You need machines to moderate forums and chatrooms I am afraid now a days...

Some folks have that Napoleon complex issue in their head... I have also given donations and I think making another chatroom for a 2 dimensional platform with human beings moderating is a bad idea.. You may think I am outta my mind, but chat turn into a click kinda thing. I do miss my discussions with zaph thou, and a couple others. Just to much misunderstanding in chat thou in my opinion..

Any chance of an IRC? Or is the lack of user database integration a deal breaker for you?

Chat needs to come back. I miss it and everyone that was a frequent in there. The radio show and chat was so much fun!!!! Bring it back!!!
