I don't believe the Wichita bird is a fake either. If you watch this THIS] video you can see that the original photographer took multiple shots at different angles and focal ratios, as seen on his computer screen in the video. Yes, one photo can be faked but most people don't go through the trouble of creating multiple fakes and able to keep them consistent.
