NEWS: Amber Alert Issued for Fetus

After Bobbi Jo Stinnett was murdered yesterday in Skidmore, Missouri, her eight month fetus was apparently removed from her body and taken by her killer. A nationwide Amber Alert (America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response) has been issued by state officials in an attempt to find the child, who may have health issues.



Although I'm sure abortion rights groups will raise a fuss about an eight month old fetus being considered a "child," the issuance of the Amber Alert was absolutely the right thing to do. This infant may have serious health issues as a result of the early and traumatic "birth," and needs to be found as quickly as possible.

This story appears to have a happy ending, sort of. Police have found an infant they believe to be the one taken from the slain mother. The baby was found alive in a home in Kansas. The car, that was the subject of the Amber Alert was found in the driveway of the home.


It is very sad when things of this gruesome nature happen so close to Christmas. The family of the slain women will now be able to grieve for their dead loved one, without the mystery of what has happened to their grand-child also.

No, this is not "very sad", this is sickening.

I can't argue with the "sickening" description.
What's really messed up, is that one of my first thoughts when I heard this story was that Mark Gerigous would try and use it in the appeal for Scott Peterson. He could claim, "see there are groups out there killing pregnant women for their babies".

Well it is not that rare apparently still crazy though this happened in South America

A woman who was eight months pregnant had the baby snatched from her womb after kidnappers drugged her and performed a rudimentary cesarean section, the woman told Colombian television today. Sol Angela Cartagena told RCN television she was drugged at a hospital in Girardot in Cundinamarca province and carried by a woman to a remote place on a hillside where the cesarean was performed and her infant abducted.

The whole story was totally disgusting to me.

There is however one good thing that came about. Once again it proves the Amber Alert system does work.

WTF! What in the world did the pervert have in mind. This reminds me of a law and order episode. Who ever did this must have been crooked in the upper story.

I have heard, believe it or not, of similar stories before. Sometimes the baby is stolen from the maternity ward of a hospital. Basically what it usually turns out to be is a women who had told family, or the men they were with, that they were pregnant. Well, when the time drew near for them to have "the baby" they had to come up with one. So they take one.

In the majority of cases though, they do not kill the pregnant mother, they simply kidnap a baby. This women is a truly disturbed women. I think we will find that the mothers killer is the blonde women seen driving the red car, and the one they found in the home. Which is even more perverous, that it was a women who did this to another women... a pregnant women.

SKIDMORE, Mo. (AP) - A baby girl who apparently was cut from her mother's womb was found in good health Friday, a day after the slaying, and two people were being questioned, authorities said.

Sheriff Ben Espey said authorities were awaiting DNA testing to confirm the newborn is the child of Bobbi Joe Stinnett, an eight-months-pregrant woman found slain in her Missouri home Thursday. The child was found in Kansas.

"It's about as good as we can get, people," Espey said at a new conference.

The world is full of this criminality. There apparently is a large market for infants. The most troubling are the ones, such as the lead story, where the mother is killed and the infant taken from her womb.
