Hmmmm, are they all as black and tan as the ones in your pics?
We had a black and tan with a decent mix of rottie and shepard and something water related in him (toes were webbed and swam like a fish). We've also
been thinking our son would love to have a dog around. Not sure if a rottie/fox hound would work well with our smaller yard and urban area though.
The pups are a week old now, fattening up quite nicely. Momma is doing well (a LOT thinner), though she really wants to move them, but where they are
is the best place for now. They should be starting to open up their eyes soon, and learning to walk (they're pretty mobile as it is!).
These are going to be big dogs. I already have 3 medium to large dogs, I might swing a 4th, but I'll have to make their run area much bigger. The pen
is to keep them safe (so they don't leave the property and end up on someone else's land, getting shot or taken away) while outside. We bring them
in every night (or keep them in if the weather is bad).
