Lawyers for the woman say the harassment included unwanted emails as well as text and phone messages.

Just my O, when they want someone deposed they "allege" sex crimes or drug abuse. He doesn't look like an addict so…

One tell will be if all the media outlets carry the same "allegations": convicted by public opinion. It doesn't matter anymore if he is guilty or not, his rep is stained.

Nobel prize winner, too… must have gotten too close to the mark.

Mr Pachauri, who had chaired the IPCC since 2002 and whose second term was due to end in October this year, denies any wrongdoing and says his email account and mobile phone were hacked.

No dog in this hunt for me, but it sure sounds a bit fishy. 74 years old and lusting after a 29 year old. Entirely possible, but seems a bit unlikely. A charge of sexual misconduct is a death sentence even without proof.

It's not like that has anything to do with the science presented by the panel now does it?

It's kind of telling, Tenth-- if you want a career switch just tell
the outfit funding you the wrong things, like "You're wrong".
It worked wonders for me, I'm a pedestrian for 22 years.

I'm with you on this. In this day and age, you'd think a guy like this would be smart enough to know that emails and texts can be saved and used against you. I'm not buying it. I believe he was hacked and it was time for him to go.

It is often said that the "warming" is a religion not science. Here it is said straight from the horse's mouth:

I am sure this guy was a big time warming thumper, being with the IPCC and all. But apparently he said the wrong thing to the right persons. But it's better than killing yourself in the shed at Mom's trailer in Florida. (DC madame reference)

Or maybe he was a super smart person who got a surge of testosterone in his 70's and lost his mind and felt the need to say dirty things to a 29 year old woman.
