My favorite Pet

I love animals, and I love having them as my pet. I'v had a lot of pets, from scorpions, ducks, bunnies, snakes and I even have 6 tortoises.

But my favorite pet of all time, must be my Chinchilla!!




I wish I had better photos of Chilli, but he sleeps all day long (Chinchillas are crepuscular (most active around dawn and dusk), and when he is awake, he has to much energy and never stand still for a photo.

They just LOVE a scratch under the chin!!!


They are native to South America, so has anyone living there seen them in the wild before? Or has the hunting a trade of these fluffy animals make that they are hard to find?

He's adorable! How often do they take sand baths? I have never had one but know how soft they are. Wonderful!

My Chinchilla, Chili, takes his sand bath once or twice a day. He is extremely soft, and that's why I love them!!
