Homeland Security Warns of Terrorist Threat from Right-Wingers

Right now, I would say the closest we've come to true right wing violence of the sort everyone is thinking of was the Bundy Ranch incident.

And all they did was mostly show up and parade around packing heat. It would have taken the Feds to fire first which they thankfully didn't. Thank God.

But I think a lot of the militia and similar groups are canny enough to know they can't act first. The question is ... will they get provoked and then will the incident be covered up or distorted to achieve the desired result? you know, False Flag.

Fear mongering BS. Made to get more gov control of the masses. Don't fall for it. They don't want people that petition to keep their rights. Don't like those living of the grid. They want complete control.

I found that article, and now can't find it again. Sorry, I really just skimmed over it, but indeed, Ferguson was mentioned.

The big punchline is the DHS funding bill is stalled in Congress because of jealous Obama and his immigration memos that have been stalled by the courts !!!

This is why so many people left ATS a few years ago, the site went suddenly extreme right wing.

The fact is, we see plenty of it right here on these boards, people ranting about the government, revolution, overthrowing, attacking, extreme racism... people are banned for it all the time. Don't you think, just maybe, the government is seeing all these paranoid delusional people in here talking about revolutions and all the weapons they have, and considering YOU to more of a threat to your neighbors than some bunch of death cultists a thousand miles away?

There is a greater risk of domestic terrorism than of someone arriving from another nation to carry out any attack.

When you then consider this fact, you have to start looking at the most vocal and angry groups within the country. That means all those people amassing weapons (however legally) while ranting about the government, the "foreigners" and other groups of people (which IS all politically motivated) will and should be considered a threat.

You can't on the one hand scream and rail against the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED government, and then bitch and whine when analysts within that government consider you to be more of a threat than some religious bunch of nutters a thousand miles away.

I don't give a rats ass if this is not a popular opinion to have, it's the truth, and most of you know it.

Hey! They can fix this anytime they want. Just put real Americans back to work instead of importing illegals to put to work and there wouldn't be a problem.

OK, let's take your point as valid.

During the Bush years, the left was pretty much the most vocal and angry people around. They made movies about assassinating the president even.

But I don't seem to recall the state dept. ever labeling extreme left wing groups as the most pressing terror threat.
