It seems that RT news online did a little bit on UFOs and used ATS as one of the sources ruffling a few bald eagle feathers from some of the owners here

Then if my memory serves me right someone from RT then created an account and was verbally insulted as the normal here and given the boot

Then one of the owners says Putin is a megalomaniac and the typical smears we see from others was mentioned

Next we have a meme contest with Putin from I believe the same owner

Pro western propaganda posters here who don't need to be paid as their indoctrinated beyond repair post western lies and privately message mods to delete comments that don't sit in with their web of deceit

This is normaly done as off topic,but they can go off topic in their own post and anyone commenting on this off topic post will get their post deleted

We all know the score,was like this when Afghanistan and Iraq was invaded with a fair few members who are now mods chanting the pro western garbage many knew was wrong and a pack of lies

So I guess the war in the Middle East is wrapped up and now the bad guy is Russia,it certainly would see that way with the western media doing the same tactics it did before

There is a lot of biased information on ATS, and direct pro-Russian propaganda.

I operate a forum away from here, and every day I see more than 30 new Russian email accounts attempting to sign up to it. This has only been happening over the last three months.

It is immediately clear to anyone who operates a forum that Russia has bots out there seeking forums and comment accounts to sign up to, and the moment it sees a Russian discussion it is flagged on their systems and someone logs in with that account ready to start promoting Russia and attacking the "evil West" and "Ukraine Nazis".

It is known that there is an internet campaign being waged by Russia, as seen on numerous news sites around the world, with the same characters posting the same things in an effort to derail debates and out-vote those making real and factual observations about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

But let me guess, anything anti-Russian is just "evil western propaganda", and anything anti-American is "the truth"? That's usually how it goes with you, right?

Lighten up...SoSoBad noticed something strange from the ATS PTB and chose to comment on it...I must say that I agree with his comment...This also isn't the first time I've noticed how they steer the moral compass of ATS over the years...
Some of us just don't care for conformity...or being led by the nose...

We all...get...that this is only a for profit media portal designed to portray a certain conformist reality...
We just hope against all hope that it could actually be better or different than all of the other for profit media portal sites out there........sadly...that's not the case...

But that's...OK...after a while an individual learns to skirt and steer around all of that...usually I just stay the hell away from threads like this......hold my nose and walk clear on the other side of the street...

It was in response to a direct question. The content of which has previously been publicly discussed here on ATS (working on the next NLBS show, no time to find the thread yet, I think it's the RT as a source discussion).

If you look at the entire Twitter conversation, not just select bits, I did.

I had thought it was broad and general knowledge, especially here on ATS, that paid actors are working social media, blog, and discussion sources to spread distortions and propaganda? Was I wrong?

And, a few months back during the height of the Ukraine/Russia crisis, we did indeed identify suspect accounts, some of which were banned. One was bold enough to have identified themselves as some anticipation of cooperation.

As I am entitled to respond to questions posed to me on the Twitter channel. I can't, however, guarantee that -- based on people personal biases about me and the operation of ATS -- everyone will agree with or like the answers to those questions.

I would question the thinking of the OP about there being shills on ATS in general. ATS is not big enough, nor does it have enough influence in any sense of the media to reach a large enough audience for any government body to care about paying someone to come on and post anything.

ATS does not have enough influence, nor do any of the members that I know of, to warrant anything of the sort. Sure, there are a few b-list profiles like Ventura and the like that garner some name recognition, but overall, conspiracy forums are not a hotbed for any type of government shills, unless they are looking for someone targeting an attack of some sort or for some whackbags who are a bit overzealous.

The discussion was on if there are shills paid to post here....so please let me know when ATS has ever been brought into any MSM conversation of merit that had millions of viewers/readers?

Is this site likely monitored by government? Sure. Is there anyone paid to post on here? HIGHLY doubtful.
