Discovery Channel - Gold Rush

OK so there is a fair share of Simulators out there, mining simulator, farming simulator, train simulators.

What I want is Gold Rush (Discovery Channel).

You start small, not quite panning but certainly a small claim, small digger and stuff and rent the land.

You then have to build yourself up, surviving each season, paying off your landowner and staff, finding new claims, digging test holes, some sort of inventory for spares, more staff, staff being thieves, accommodation, running out of gold, moving around...

And I want to play that gnarley miserable old man Hoffman.....

That is a game I would play. Like you I would want to play either old man Hoffman or Tony Beets.
