So once we put Boots on ground in Iraq AGAIN...we will have to stay or it will happen again.

If we put boots on the ground over there, we'll send everyone to cleanse the ISIS threat. I suspect if we give them everything we have, it'll be over in a year or two. ISIS honestly isn't that organized and anyone saying otherwise is fooling themselves. It'll be like shooting fish in a barrel for us.

how about bringing all the innocent citizens back to the US then your troops can have all the fun they want , then when its all over you can stay behind and clean the country up including rebuilding all the homes you have destroyed .

We could just leave them to be raped and abused by ISIS. That is option 2 of my post.

They are not the same group. In fact the US backed Syrian rebels have been fighting ISIL longer than anybody. Back when Assad and ISIL had and unofficial cease fire so they could both focus on the rebels.

Truth is all those groups are a mix of multiple groups where they change alliances all the time. Some of the US backed Syrian rebels have gone over to ISIS and vice versus. Some people we supported and armed switched sides more than once. Some of them just fight to be fighting and give two bits about the political or religious reasons. Its a big fat mess and supporting any of them is a bad idea. Better to just fight them ourselves if we are going to be involved at all which I could argue is a bad idea anyway.

In war your either all in or all out or your just making it much much worse for your own.
