Our definition of infinity is definitely flawed because our view on reality is limited to our senses and how we experience the universe. If consciousness truly is a foreign element in our body, then where does it come from? What rules govern it?

I am aware of that position and would in response reference Chaos Theory, in that a process may appear random but when one observes the process as a whole how it is ordered becomes apparent. We observe examples of this nature all the time, in so much as what we today define as random on some other scale is potentially part of a complex order.

And a point being that this not Woo science or pseudo-science it relates to nature fundamentally.

Consider that in relation to Relativity even our definition of Infinity is Relative.

And what does that imply in relation to Multiverse Theory?

Take a Sphere of Depleted Uranium say about 2ft in diameter. Attach it to an energy source that allows the sphere to be accelerated to near the speed of light.

What I am saying is that if one does that the Sphere if it achieves infinite density will dissolve.

In effect now related to another energy state.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I can see the whole randomness isn't really random but just the result of the certain things adding up where we may not have the means to see all the variable.

Imagine if we could. Predicting the future would actually be possible through technology.

What does dissolve mean in this sense? What does the sphere dissolve into? The background energy of the universe?

The guy who wrote that paper is definitely crazy. He belongs on ATS where people who can think on their own congregate.

In relation to Carl Jung's research with Indigenous Cultures that was a similar conclusion with respect Psi ability, in relation to the term "Collective Unconscious".

In regard to your second response, yes the mass dissolves into the background energy in the Universe.

If energy dissolves into the background energy how can you say that it changes into another form of energy? When Kool-Aid dissolves into water, isn't it just technically dirty water?

Not to mention, the Kool-Aid doesn't change state either. It's still technically flavored sugar. It's just dispersed throughout the water.

In your example, you are dissolving something that was originally energy into itself (energy). That would be like adding an ice cube to water. As the ice cube dissolves into the water, it just adds to the total water content.

Exactly an Ice cube into water.

ATS is one of the few Forums (if in fact there are any other) where Skeptics and Believers can have a civil discussion.

If they really want to that is.

Lol. What is wrong with kaku and Lawrence.
The 1 sec during the big bang could be akin to a million years in our measured time. so nothing happened in 1 sec of man's measured time.Grow up MS, when are you going to wise up on ambient time? Bloody annoying to say the least.

That's not why I said your response was clearly a display of ignorance.

Clearly the point made is way over your head.

Do not expect another response.

I believe that we will find the description implied by the ancient Hindus and others is particularly accurate. Understanding the function of the Universe, God, whatever you refer to it...might be most easily described by the breath: in, out

We are looking at snapshots in time of either end of the aforementioned, sometimes a point in the wave obfuscates the next point

The Univer IS infinite!
happy to see the Finaly start to admit that there is No big bang.

do you know the cat in a box?
is it dead or alieve? weel its dead now.
no one fed it ? or is it!

the human, is it looks at some thing,
like space will make id become!
like the slit experimental.
Only when a human looks at it will it Chose what to do!

in other words,
only things around humans are real ?
its like we are in a VR or that we Make reality as we go along????
