I don't have time to visit the NUFORC site everyday, so I hope others here that are interested in the truth will help with posting the more interesting cases or the ones with more documentation.

Here is one that caught my eye - with pics.

Even though for me the overwhelming evidence points to extra-terrestrial interaction with earth, this picture looks kind of fake, the part where the "creatures" legs don't seem distinct from the road. Then again these creatures can manipulate matter, teleport themselves and humans, so maybe its atomic vibrational frequencies are in a different state than what we are used to at the point this picture was taken.

Here is a note of caution from NUFORC about the images:

NOTE/CAUTION: We have spoken with the woman who submitted the report and photo, and she sounds to us to be both sincere, and serious-minded. She claims to have seen the creature, at the time the photo was taken. However, the photo has not be authenticated, and we post it here with a considerable degree of apprehension, not knowing whether it is an authentic photo, or whether it might be a hoax. We are aware that there are some “spam” programs, which are capable of embedding “spam” images of aliens in photos taken with some types of cell telephones. However, we post the photo, nevertheless, believing that if it is authentic, humanity deserves to be aware of the sighting incident. We have requested that sighting reports be submitted by the other witnesses, who allegedly also witnessed the creature, at the time.

I'm open minded about the whole thing. Are you?

I've seen that alien image somewhere before. Not sure where though. Pretty sure it's fake, and I'm not normally one to scream photoshop. The image is too familiar to me. The alien, not the background.

Although I rarely visit NUFORC anymore, the site and ethos is something I admire. Pete Davenport works his ass off to record these reports. He's also a very decent man who's spent a couple of decades now contributing his time to something he believes is important.

Whether people believe the reports to be hoaxes, misinterpretations, folklore, BS or genuine anomalies they are part of human culture and deserve to be captured for future generations. For what it's worth, I consider them to be all of the above. : )

His predecessor, Robert Gribble, spent hundreds of hours taking calls and some 250 of them are available here. Gribble founded NUFORC and left his archives to Wendy Connors who released them as part of the Faded Discs archives.

I don't know if Davenport records his calls in the same way as Gribble.

The image in your OP is something I've seen before and most likely another hoax. Davenport has his time wasted by assholes and hoaxers every week.

Thanks for some background on the people and the NUFORC organization; appreciated.

Sure some people are just jerks and don't fathom that they are wasting others valuable time with hoaxes and false reports; however it doesn't seem possible this could be the case for all reports.

Also, there is the supposition that the elements tasked with the cover-up of the extra-terrestrial interaction with Earth are behind some or many of the hoaxes and false reports to discredit the phenomenon; that certainly is a page out of the disinformation playbook.

Yes, I would agree, and NUFORC, as stated in the OP, was suspicious of the images as well.

However, as I mentioned above, some people are just jerks or trying to be funny, but also many believe many hoaxes and fakes are deliberately crafted by the same groups orchestrating the overall cover-up of the alien interaction with Earth to sow disinformation and confusion and attempt to discredit legitimate reports and images.

While I totally agree with you about NUFORC and Pete Davenport dedication to UFO reports, I find it somewhat odd that they publicly post what appears to be at first glance a faked photo.

Is there any photo analyst over there that could take a closer look at these, prior to publication?

Will the credibility of NUFORC be reinforced by publicly release such a questionable photo? Especially if proven to be fake.

Of course, this deserves to be captured, like you said, for future generation, but what a waste of time for the actual generation of researchers! This is the noise that hide the signal.

I saw this posting today and I looked it over quite thoroughly as I check this site (Nuforc) regularly. I don't live to far away from their headquarters. I admire the work Peter Davenport does too. He is a busy guy between postings and then he does alot of radio program guestings and whatnot. The one image of the alien, looks awfully, well ghostish looking, to me, rather fading away looking. I don't know. Its very possible this is indeed, a hoax. But, it appears more people have seen the same thing, so with that, will await and see who comes forward for my final verdict.

Bonsoir, elevenaugust!

Unless things have changed NUFORC is essentially one man, a phone and a website. He's had assistants that didn't work out, but I'm well out of the loop these days and don't know if things have changed in the past couple of years.

Anyone can leave a report and then post an image. He's moderated the worst examples of hoaxes and that's about all I can say.

NUFORC doesn't have photo-analysts and maybe he'd be interested in IPACO?

That image couldn't be more fake. Firstly, there's no shadow on the ground from the "alien" standing in the headlights. Even if the "creature" were transparent, it would still have a minimal shadow because there is a visible form.

Even water and barely visible, yet transparent gasses still have a shadow. You can't get much more transparent than clear water or transparent gasses.

I agree with you. I'm almost 90% certain of having seen this exact 👽 image before, too. I haven't checked yet, and I'd bet others remember it too (at this time, I haven't read any other opinions). Of course, that isn't to say that the report is fake... But it certainly casts doubt.
On the bright side.... Could just be a really crap cell phone camera.
I live in hope.... Should I hold my breath though?
