A woman opened a can of tuna and got an interesting surprise

A woman opened a tin of Princes Tuna Chunks to find a tiny creature with prominent black eyes and a tail looking back at her.

"I opened the top of the lid and saw a purply thing, a gut sack or intestine – then I turned it round and pushed it with a fork and saw it looking back at me," she told Nottingham Post.

Dr Hany Elsheikha, associate professor of veterinary parasitology at the University of Nottingham, told the paper it could be some form of "juvenile crab."

A spokesman for the firm said: "We were contacted by Mrs Butler and immediately responded to apologise."

It arranged for Ms Butler to send them the mystery creature "so that we can look into this matter fully."

I wouldn't be eating the can of tuna, but I do think the creature is kind of cute in an ugly weird kind of way. BTW, I for one, welcome our undersea overlords. LOL I hope the follow up the story and mention what the little bugger was. I'm actually kind of curious. Until thy do, I've named him Crabby. Dang, now I'm attached. I'm thinking I should post this in the pet's forum now. LOL

Its all part of the alien agenda. Millions of unsuspecting tuna lovers have gobbled them down unwittingly.

The creatures immediately migrate to the brain and take over. 99% of Congress and Parliament are now hosts.

Every evening during mating season juveniles migrate out if the anus and head for the tuna section of grocery stores where they pass through the cans waiting for their next victim.

It brings deeper meaning to the phrase, "You are what you eat."
