Was the virgin mary raped?

Well knee jerk reactions come without filters dont they? Meaning this was a genuine response. To a statement that was and still is quite offensive. I don't find the act of rape implausible but that's not what the OP says. It says that God raped Mary. That I find extremely implausible. Oh and one more thing. Mary was a relative of King David and was hardly a peasant.
I'm not a practising Christian. I am for all intents and purposes the exact opposite but at least I know the history.
