The UK and US are to carry out "war game" cyber attacks on each other as part of a new joint defence against online criminals.
The first exercise, a staged attack on the financial sector, will take place later this year, Downing Street said.
The "unprecedented" arrangement between the two countries was announced as Prime Minister David Cameron held talks with US President Barack
Obama.
Agents will also co-operate in "cyber cells" on both sides of the Atlantic.
Downing Street said the cells, involving MI5 and the FBI, were the first the UK had established with another country.

It has also said they are forming new anti cyber terror cells. On the surface this is a good idea but in reality we all know it has the potential to
create a stink.

People weren't too convinced in the above thread regarding the Isis hack of the pentagon.
"They will say, "Trust us we are with the government and we are here to help secure your internet." For example.
On that thread I said
"1) this has been done to coincide with Obama's speech to 'confirm' that extra security and funding are necessary. More strict and powerful laws
headed our way perhaps? (Well not my way personally but I'm sure the UK will follow the lead if it is so). Also more reason to attack ISIS."
This all seems very convienent for me. It could have been an emergency response to recent attacks but then again the plan could have been in place
long ago. Could be yet another way to keep a watchful eye and control over the masses.
