My fellow Americans, my have come to this site to discuss conspiracies. I however have come here to create one. I hope to abolish the acrimony between Red and Blue and replace it with a harmonious Purple! I feel betrayed my both of the major parties in America today....you mean to tell me the best America has to offer is are Kerry and Shrub ? Hey look I didn't so much vote for Shrub but against Kerry as many other voted against Shrub and not for Kerry. Is this what it has come to, voting against and not for the candidate of your choice? Why is there not a Liberal wing of the Republican nor a Conservative wing of the Democratic party? Why have both parties abandoned the center to court the extremes?
To you "Blues" you have been demonized as being anti-religion, anti gun, pro abortion, and against the war on terror.
while we "Repugnants" are zealous gun toting imperialists. What I purpose are Purples. Who is a Purple? A purple is the kind of person who doesn't mind having the words "under God" in the pledge but is pro choice, a Purple understands that legal firearms don't commit crimes and legalized Marihuana may not be a bad idea. Purples are people who understand the need for a strong defense and a war on Terror but not the need for American Imperialism. We are for getting oil from the Artic Refuge but only until our investment in Hydrogen starts to pay off. Purples have 2 cars a SUV for family outings and a hybrid we drive to work every day. We want someone to pay for 911 but not the ill-conceived Iraq invasion.

So are there any Purples out there...is there a conspiracy of common sense out there?

I'd be a purple, but that color is kind of fruity. Why do we have to be one color anyways? What about pokadots?

purple is the gay color, we would be known as the gay politicians. seriously though we are all indiviuals so dont get bogged down with labels it only detracts from the process of exchanged and expanding upon relevent ideals with one another. team work and unity will succeed all.

Pink is gay and lavender is for lesbians, I way thinking more of an Imperial purple. Beside what's wrong with gay's/lesbians they are american's too. Talk about disenfrancised, if you were a pro gun and pro gay marrige what party would you turn to? The Purple party!

although im from the UK, i really cant see the difference between republican and democrats..... both parties bomb other countrys and stuff....... but if i could vote i would vote for nader..... well actually... i wanted to vote for kerry so we could get that 'dubya' out on his ass, so what would make your purple party different from any other party? would you bomb more or less?? do we have to wear purple all the time?

Is a play on the colors (ok colours for you) red (republican) and blue (democrat) that are used to show what party took a state during an election.

I'm not a big fan of the way Bush has handled things.
Do I think we should have invaded Afganistan? Yes The were a defacto al Quaida state and a growing danger to the world.
Do I think we should have invaded Iraq? Sorta
There were bigger fish to fry 1st. We really needed to finish in Afganistan 1st. By finish I mean fully live up to all objectives including the rebuilding objectives, this would have truly made the right kind of example out of Afganistan. We need to leave Afganistan as a country read for the 21st century not the 19th.

Once that was done we could look at countries like N Korea, Iraq and Iran.
The people of those countries instead of seeing the mess we made in Afganistan would see a new country ready to take its place on the world's stage. Then IF it were truely necessary to invade Iraq we could gone in with a greater number of troops (because US forces would no longer be needed in Afganistan) and met with less resistance because the example of Afganistan would be a shining model instead of a mess.

I think Bush has grand vision but short sight.

I would also have not pushed for Patriot Act 2. Patriot 1 if effect expaned the RICO stautes to include terrorism, PA2 simply goes to far.

So would I be for bombing other countries? Maybe it would depend on what the circumstances were.
