It's what happens next that he probably doesn't like. Check out history.
Government steps in and breaks up the monopolies.
Yup, that's what happens next. I think this will be the 5th cycle of Anti-Trust bull# our country is dealing with, and it has to be reset every few years.
I imagine it will start in the 2020s.

Whats the solution?
1) Don't take advice from people who aren't rich.
One question.
Are you rich?
Why is it important for you to ask me that question? What is the honest reason you want the answer?
Well, because you just gave a big list of advice that started with "Don't take advice from people who aren't rich." If you aren't rich, then the rest of your advice is garbage, right?

Poverty line in the late 90's was around 2000 a month, just a tad under that, think it was 22 000 a year.
$12 dollars and hour is what dry wallers got in the early 80's and in those day, apartments were 200 a month and you could purchase a house, also roughly 60 000, on that salary.
Do ya think we have a problem watson?
15 dollars an hour is peanuts and you can't raise a family on it, you can't rent a 1400 dollar a month house, a 1200 dollar townhouse, or a 1000 dollar a month apartment, and pay over a 1000 for groceries, all your bills, and have any money left over, oh wait, you're already vastly in negative numbers.
Some of us just keep waiting for the majority to say NO and not go to work, or whatever, but line up in front of their elected employee minions offices until everything is straightened. ie homes for all. Abolish money if necessary, and get a good world that does not involve forced slavery, but part time, and more Venus Project like, or shove it. Just everyone refuse to participate and take land in majority and build your homes and plant your gardens.
I just keep waiting.
This system is slavery, and therefore violates all forms of law, common and constitutional and is outrageous crimes against humanity.
Keep you head up brother, just like this beer....it will be over soon.
This cannot last, it is wrong, greed was warmed about many times by the ancients, now this country worships it.
I am not religious, but money is the devil if ever there was one.

"Too big to fail" there will be no more monopoly breaking before the collapse. That time is past.
As soon as they deemed corps too big to fail the monopoly laws went the way of the dodo.

Real wages have decreased dramatically but I don't see life getting any better for small business!
What a business needs is demand for the product or service. Without the demand, the cost really isn't the issue.
Corporations are making a ton of money but still aren't hiring. How in the world can you seriously say keeping wages low will increase jobs when the last 10 years have proved you wrong.

Re your other question, inflation begins with money supply. Increasing wages to increase demand is going to increase prices. It's part of the reason inflation adjusted wages are lower now than 30 years ago.

Fact, INFLATION is caused by overspending on the budget. AND it only getting worse. SO exspect worse times ahead. Your childrens children will be in debt. the day they are born. A total of about 55,000 a kid these days. In 10 years this country will be up FOR SALE and the fat cats will be suckin another country dry. FACT.

Because she buys into the greed memtality...she thinks they will let her have a place at the through.
In the 60s places took care of their employees, because they are the ones actually making all the money.
Today, people like her brag about paying their employees nothing so they get a third house and second yacht.
That is her mentality.
F... them, I desrve more, they desrve nothing. All the time denying the workers are doing all the work, and earing all the money, while she pays them nothing and pockets more than all of them combined.
This is the greed mentality, it cant be reasoned with.
She can never have enough, no matter her workers going hungry, missing important family moments etc...
Only her insatiable greed matters.
