It looks like the SpaceX ISS resupply mission is on for tomorrow (Jan 6). The FAA has issued a flight restriction for the Kennedy Space Center area, from ground to unlimited. It goes into effect at 0820 UTC, and expires at 1149 UTC.

It was originally scheduled to launch in December, but there was a problem found during testing that they decided to hold the mission for.

yup. it's the x wing barge landing attempt. not the main purpose of the mission; but very important.

well they only give themselves a 50 percent chance of success. so it'll be great if it works but if not they are learning more about how to do it with each shot; succeed or fail.

IIRC they weren't really optomistic about their first attempt at a water landing and it went beautifully.

well they did hit the water as planned

the rocket wasn't designed to survive salt water landings in shape to be refurbished. their real goal is dry landings. the water landings did help in the maturation of the systems they need to accomplish that goal. also the grasshopper flights were in a parallel track to those space launch missions. and the grasshopper missions taught them about controlled vertical descents. now they are combining the two into one system.

i kind of think they'll succeed. so i predict they will get it to land on the barge and remain upright unless weather and sea conditions prevent it.
