My First Cara Cara Orange

Just had me a Sunkist Cara Cara orange that my wife picked up today.

Wow! I've had a LOT of different oranges over my life, my favorite being Blood Oranges I used to get when I lived in Italy as a teenager back in the 80's.

But this, it tasted like TANG to me! Never had an orange that tasted like TANG before. OJ yes, various other flavors yes. But that TANG taste was surprising!

I just had my first this week, yummy! Coincidentally for the Sons of Anarchy fans, their house of ill repute was called Cara Cara..........you know they're pink on the inside!

O my gosh they are the best aren't they!!? I had my first one a few years ago ,i never knew of them until I was working at a fancy grocery store that year. Delicious!!!

Who carries them? Are they GMO?
