Dont you realize, America is a Police State...blurggghhh those horrible nazi cops pulled me over because I was doing 89 in a 25 mph zone while not wearing a seat belt. The terrible police arrested me because I was smoking weed in a school zone and well I dont think drugs should be illegal. I got arrested because I stole a tee shirt from Wal-Mart and they make billions so it should be legal.. All proof of police state!!!!!

Each time people post "America is a police state" BS I feel like saying "plenty of countries around the world that are police states, go visit them, see if you can get out and then let us know the differences"

Exactly, there are no good and smart cops, because any benevolent person with common sense and sense of justice will just refuse to be part of it. When the institution itself is evil and requires you to do evil, then either you are evil (Whether they realize it or not, doesn't really matter, the only thing that matters is the effect of one's actions) or you refuse to be part of it.

I think it's stupid that a department wouldn't want to hire the most intelligent people it can. I think it's stupid to tell somebody they're "too smart" to continue on in the hiring process. Do I see the legality of the court's decision? Yep, I sure do. But do I think the department is right in doing what it does? Definitely not.
