Context is important.

When the context is cowboys and city slickers, its safe to assume a certain meaning, and when we are talking about a polarizing "race-baiter" as some put it, it is safe to assume a different meaning.

(That's two books, btw, just so you know.)

Actually, it is one book.

The Muckrakers and Lynching is not a book, it is a 30 page abstract specifically dealing with five magazines in the Jim Crow era and how they either failed to cover or inadequately covered the lynchings of black citizens. It had no mention of Colonial Era race relations.

Shhh. Don't want to disturb superficial lack of knowledge about history.

The reason I said "The Founders would get a rope"....

Was, bullets were very expensive back then. None of these clowns were worth a bullet.

Obama’s not my leader or yours unless you are of the Wall Street elite rich class.

The poor and middle class HAVE NO LEADERS

Maybe your union rep.

Don’t you understand that ALL of the senate are millionaires and most of the congress are millionaires or will soon be...

They don’t represent us ordinary shlubs who have to work for a living
they represent the elite rich and ONLY have power to maintain their wealth and privileges

No it isn't. It's moronic to assume another meaning based on the conversation unless one is an idiot who sees race in everything.

If not said yet..

Let me say.. Sony and other movie makers of my beloved 007 Bond films. Were set to change the race of James Bond. IDRIS ELBA a British actor ( and a bad a$$ one if I may ) was thought to be the next James Bond. I guess Sony felt a need to bring old Al in to ask what should we do? And can it wait?
Just look at IMDB. It's ripe at the moment.
Found it just looking on a fluke.

Did I mention Idris is of African descent? And Al being the face mouth of U.S. consumerism and hate.. Sony thought this was a good idea...

I never tend to.
Being of a mixed raced family..
However..
Sharpton is criminal when it comes to spewing hate.
I saw both parts of the argument you just had.
You're both right given the age..

But thanks for your opinion...
Have a star

That was not a jab.. it was genuine..

Having Annie as black is ok the story is really not ethnic specific and the fact that it is set in a modern urban setting ,having Idris Elba playing Hiemdal in Valhalla was annoying to me as they were Nordics just about the whitest folks one can find on this planet,by the same token having an entire white caste to play members of an Egyptian royal dynasty and one of the most African to boot, while the "Colored" folks served them as was done in Exodus made me wanna pull my hair out by the roots, James Bond 007 unless he is bond's love child from one of the black bond girls who grow-up to take his daddy's place,as a charming sociopathic killer, I say leave him white.,but if Sony tops think they have a problem with diversity call up black film makers, sociologist, writers and even historians and say look guys how can we do better,no need to call on Al like I said they are covering their asses about potential damaging racist comment in their now hacked e-mails.

You know what i dont get about the whole race thing is that COLOR makes a difference in anything
at all.
People as a whole are just people.
People can be White and stupid.
People cn be Black and stupid.
What i am saying is what does skin color have to do with anything.
Why the Hell cant we all just get along and work side by side to OUST
the idiots that a seperating us as People.
Not Black or White or any other color.

That was a bit odd considering that Heimdallr was "the whitest of the Gods".

Not once but twice.
So we kinda have to follow the rules that are laid out by him and his cronies.
and by the way i definately didnt vote for the man myself.
We are led by the rich as the working class of people whether we like it or not.
The Law is the Law.
Kinda like god save the KING LOL

Why the hell do you or I care how or why SONY makes their crap movies?

Seriously, Sony makes terrible movies.

Give the rights to Spider-Man back to Disney, please.

Actually I believe it is Marvel is it not?

Disney owns Marvel now.

Yeah, it's true.

And Star Wars.

Race relations in this country would advance if Sharpton stops exploiting the black community for his own personal gain. His non profit is about a million in the red and he draws a 250k salary from it. That's on top of his other scams and his msnbc stint.

This guy has no business directing someone to the bathroom let alone involving himself in the movie industry.

The AA community will advance when they stop listening to Sharpton, and his party.

After 50 years of being told they are being oppressed. They are no better off.

Truth be told your right they are being exploited. Much in the same fashion as those slave owners of days gone by.

Yesteryear it was cotton.

Today its the vote.

When someone feeds, clothes, educates, gives them free health care, homes.

That is slavery they traded one master for another.
