I really have no idea. He's somewhat good at public speaking I guess, as in he knows how to incite a crowd. Why Sony would want or need his kind of "fixing" is beyond me though. Why they thought to reach out to him about anything is beyond me.

I'm not surprised. All racism is vicious, but black on black is some of the most vicious I've ever seen. My department has a good number (read many, many) of black officers and the amount of flak they take when trying to arrest some of our frequent fliers is sickening.

Actually I believe it is Marvel is it not?

Disney owns Marvel but Sony owns the movie rights to Spiderman. Disney is trying to work out a deal with Sony to get the rights for Spiderman back, so they can add him to the Marvel movie universe. The best thing to come out of these Sony hacks is the fact the Japanese side of Sony is now willing to override Amy Pascal and make a deal with Marvel over Spiderman.



As to Al Sharpton. Who cares what Al Sharpton thinks about movies. And who cares who Sony wants to listen to about movies. This is just a PR move. It probably will have no real world effect on any movies Sony makes. I do not know why anyone would get upset over this. Things like this only have what power you give them.
