"I accept rebuke for my evil ways
and wish to love Your good ways." -St. Augustine(Confessions)

The first sinner crucified beside my God,
blasphemed Him and mocked Him.
Adding sin to his sin,
rejecting the Gift offered by open arms.

O, pain of pains,
that is the denial of guilt,
who can break through
your threshold but God,
but God repays such
with the punishment of His being silent,
and the echo of a tortured conscience.

The second thief had his heart shattered,
The ice covering that enclosed it broke,
and with a few words he spoke to God
and accepted his cross.

And (Jesus) said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”-Luke 23:43

He heard his conscience and repented,
'He died like a thief and stole Paradise."-Bishop Sheen (Life of Christ)

Where is your proof that all of this really happened?

Only Eve was deceived. Adam joined her by choice.

The people who witnessed it recorded it on paper. You know, how ALL human history has been recorded for thousands of years before the invention of electronics.

I'm not sure what difference that makes, but the outcome is still puerile.

Adam is convinced by his wife to eat the fruit, god gets upset (because he listened to his wife no less, the swine!....)and unleashes death and evil upon the world (according to Augustine....).

And you should know by now that extraordinary claims (such as supernatural gods and talking snakes) require extraordinary evidence. That someone wrote down a story they heard is not a good indication that it actually happened. There are alien abductees (people, couples, families) that were apparently taken by aliens last night that you can go and talk to in person today, yet no one has any business beleiving them.

People lie the time to get attention, and claiming a god told you how the human race was created is a massive cry for attention....

The difference is you said to "blame them both for being tricked", my point was you can only blame Eve for being tricked/deceived, Adam was a willing participant and wasn't deceived. He made a conscious decision to sin.

If Eve was deceived by the serpent and in turn was able to convince Adam to also eat the fruit, it follows that the deception used on Eve was also passed onto Adam.

That is unless you think Adam was aware of the deception Eve was under and decided to go against God because.......**** god?

What I'm asserting is that Adam chose to join her in her death because he loved her. He knew that she would die as a consequence of her sin. My only point was it was Eve who was tricked by the devil, Adam was a willing participant.
