A prayer from my heart goes out to you this holiday.
To keep you warm, to keep you safe, in each and every way.

Each minute we spent together brought me a smile.
Each minute spent with you was worthwhile.

Best friends for ever, we both said.
Knowing this, makes me sleep calmly in my bed.

Now, on this winter’s day, we are so far apart.
But you are still close to me, right here, in my heart.

Each time I think about you, it breaks my heart.
Why, O why!? Why are we apart?

The real crazy thing is, most of my work is about love, or being apart from a loved-one, but I have been single all my life....

Ya know, I wasn't looking for anyone when I met my wife, over 27 years ago.
I was just getting out of a kinda bad 2 year marriage, and We met one normal day.
