I have a friend up here in Wyoming that was just diagnosed with endometrial cancer. She wants to try rick simpson oil. She is also on felony probation. Can one on probation use medical marijuana with a prescription? Let me know.

i dont live there but imo, a cancer diagnosis voids out any non mj use stipulations.
^^^^meaning if i was diagnosed i wouldnt care about the stipulations.

seriously though, im thinking if its a prescription, it will be cool

Do your friend a favor and tell her to ask her probation officer. Seriously.

I'm not trying to be a smart arse, but people on the internet don't know, nor care if they give you the wrong answer for her. She likely could have stipulations against it, and she may not... She needs to check with the PO ONLY on this matter. Period.

I wish her the best of luck and the last thing she needs right now is some bad advice off the internet having her dealing with this diagnosis back behind bars.

Does that even work for anyone/anything? That has never worked for anything in my entire life...

Maybe I'm not one of the blessed ones.

Sound advice from the kangaroo, but I'm pretty sure that as long as she has her prescription with her when she goes to see her PO, there's nothing they can do if she tests dirty. I would definitely make sure before risking time in prison though. And sorry to hear about your friend's condition.

You have a twin in Louisiana btw.

Ya what rew said, unless some one here is a lawyer in that state then nothing they say will really matter.

Hope the best for your friend tho

And yes ignorance is not an excuse for the law and a judge will be glad to tell you that

get your doctor to approve it first, a prescription will help you convince the PO to allow it, you can always get a second opinion from a different doctor until one prescribes it.

that will be ammo for you to get your PO to approve it, then once you have both approvals get the prescription filled and start treatment then,

if the PO doesnt approve then you have to convince a judge or move states.
