hey jus last night i had three very vivid lucid dreams, all pretty lengthy, and in each of them for some reason i decided i would try to attempt to OBE from my dream state, but i jus couldnt do it
...

so i decided to search the forums today and found out that it maybe possible , as Azrek write in one thread :-

"It most likely was a lucid dream. The next time you hit that lucid state, your supposed to slip out of your body, and then project. I typically do this by just watching my hands melt away and sort of let the dream fade, I'll then be pulled into a projection."

and i was just wondering are there other way of projecting from your lucid dream to an OBE that any of you find helpful?

Any replys would be appreciated, thanks!

I have never tried this but put your arms across your chest and fall down backwards next time you are lucid, and let me know if it works

Heres what i did once and it worked.

Check to see if you are breathing in the dream( in a dream you dont need to breath in the normal fashion), if you can focus in on that one idea you will realize you are in a lucid dream, and then be able to take control of your actions and movement. Then try to think of movement upwards kind of like crashing upwards through the ceilling. Keep going upwards you should find yourself in a new surrounding. That is what i did one night and it was one of the best controlled dreams i have ever had.

This is a fascinating subject. I've often had vivid dreams, but just in the past week they've become different somehow...maybe lucid is the right term? Last night I had a series of extremely vivd dreams, with periods of waking between them. I only remember the first, and it was very disturbing: I felt as if I was driving down a hill, but was suddenly unable to see anything...I knew I was going to crash, but couldn't bring myself up into awareness...after what seemed like a massive "effort", I finally managed to force some perception, which coincided with waking up briefly before starting the next strange dream.

I've searched thru some other threads on this subject, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for: some useful, reliable links to dream-related information, particularly relating to OBE.

wow thanks parker, i tried your method mixed with another one (where by you shout clearly in your dream "lucidity now..." until it get very intense), and last night i found myself in my room looking at my body while i was floating, for around two seconds
.... but i think i might of shocked myself back into my body, because i awoke just after...damn

hopefully ill try this method again next time and try to get a longer obe .... but thanks for the help people!!

o btw i found a really good link today on this topic:

Ok, that's it. I'm going to start working on this again. We should form an astral secret society. We could go around and find all the secrets "they" don't want us to know and then post on RATS.

"lucidity now"

God grant me the lucidity....

Edit: And if the dark forces wish to stop me they know what needs to be done. Remember, you can hold me back only because I'm stuck in a body. Muhahahahahahahah

Next time you're on keep another browser window open to AP (associated press). Then when a story comes in that interests you, think of some weird question related to the story and post as quick as possible. Or, take sides with the liberals and flame conservatives. That's a sure fire point getter. There's always the ambiguous post whereas you say you know some information that others don't, like "I just figured out time travel". Then just be extremely vague when anyone asks for specifics. Drives ATSers crazy but gets hella points.
