On August 28th, 1963 Dr. Martin Luther King spoke and delivered a speech to forever be remembered by the four words "I Have A Dream".
In the midst of all of the controversy of tensions building with police, the government, the conflicts across the world, and the injustices on all
levels be they personal or worldwide, I realized that I have a dream as well, and it is this.
I have a dream and an anguish for my race.
What race am I? I am a human being, a homosapien, a man.
No matter my color, background, creed, religion, political views, my culture, no matter my name, or my height, or my job, or my bank account, no
matter my sexual orientation or preference, no matter any medical issues or disability, no matter my stature,no matter my favorite food, no matter
what accent I have or language I speak....I am still only a human being.
No matter any of that or any of the other things we as people let divide us, or that others use to divide us, we are at the basic level all the same
and the rest is unimportant!!
I have a dream, to see all people of all nations and backgrounds, of all colors and cultures stop embracing hate and division, set aside the things we
let divide us, crush the pettiness of all the obstacles, and embrace who we all are...who we can be; humans, people, brothers, sisters, moms, dads,
sons, daughters, friends, family, neighbors, etc.
Too long have people been viewed across the world as faceless, too long have those who enforce and judge our laws viewed those they are interacting
with as the enemy, too long have we let race, religion, politics and so much more put us at odds with each other.
Too much hate has desensitized us toward our fellow human beings.
We stand by and witness prejudice, injustice and bigotry and say and do nothing about it.
I have a dream that all people unite, all people realize the power we have to change the world in all aspects if only we come together as one voice,
as one mind, as one demand to stop all of the damage to our selves by our selves!!!
PEACEFULLY.
Not with violence and more hate.
Every crime against another person is a Hate Crime, and it's inexcusable.
Hate breeds only hate, violence only more violence.
These are learned, and can be unlearned.
Change can happen, we must refuse to be a part of the problem and say NO MORE!!
We must no longer let petty differences divide us, we are all people.
No matter our differences, we all bleed the same, we all cry, hurt and feel despair at the situation of the world over, we can all effect the
change.
Maybe slowly, but it wont change until a generation decides as a whole to put the breaks on, and turn it around.
It will take time, imagine just yanking the wheel of your car going down the freeway, you will spin out of control and crash....where as if you
applied the breaks and turned it around controlled, you would make a difference in the direction of travel....
So lets turn it around, we have the power, talent, and ability to accomplish this and anything else.
It is so easy to give up, so easy to quit, but if we quit what do we offer those who come after us?
Nothing, only more of the same and very likely worse.
We can change this!
I still believe in this, I still believe in people, I know there is still hope...
Sometimes the sun is hid by the storm, but its still there.

Are There Really Different Races?

However, all human beings in the world today are classified as Homo sapiens sapiens. Scientists today admit that, biologically, there really is only
one race of humans.

"Racism, one of the most baneful and persistent evils, is a major barrier to peace. Its practice perpetrates too outrageous a violation of the
dignity of human beings to be countenanced under any pretext." "Let them look not upon a man's color but upon his heart. If the heart be filled
with light, that man is nigh unto the threshold of His Lord; but if not, that man is careless of his Lord, be he white or be he black." "In the
estimation of God there is no distinction of color..Color is not important; the heart is all-important."
