She needs to stay in Ferguson. Moving away only gives into the lawless thugs and gives them a win by default.

I understand your point but think another neighborhood would probably be more appreciative & more deserving of her shop.

Hope I'm wrong but the riots along that street may be far from over.

IMO ~ she & other businesses would be better off moving out of the danger zone.

Great story, but what is really going to suck is that she'll have to pay 40% in taxes on those donations, since she is not a non-profit business.

I wonder why she didn't have business insurance, because for a small bakery like that it would most likely be less than $75 a month.

What a beautiful story. My heart goes out to this wonderful lady. Her story should be an inspiration to all, in order to open her own business she sold her baked items at flea markets! She made her dream come true to own her own business. How sad she lost it but it is so heartwarming to know that there are caring and generous people out there who came forward to help. Thank You for posting this. You made my day.
