Can anyone identify this or speculate on it's use? Double-gated entrance, double (barbed-wire?) fencing, stadium night-time lighting, a guard shack
and a paved road leading to it. This ain't no ice cream stand.

I honestly can't tell what that is. I'd look it up on Google Earth but I'm at work and don't have it on this PC. Where is this located? But it
could be a lot of nonthreatening things.
Whatever it is, this facility is 3 miles southwest of the Yucca Lake Airfield. It was built at the same time as the airfield and is at the end of
a road leading directly from the airfield.
That's interesting. Not much info on that page but it does mention that it's a storage facility. That's some pretty heavy security to keep people
out (mind you, people who are already allowed on the base). With all the fencing it looks more like storage facility for King Kong.

Mystery solved. Storage facility for nuclear elements. This was my first inkling but the heavy fencing and industrial lighting swayed me away from
it. A little humbling to find a mundane explanation so quickly, but I suppose this is a good lesson not to let the mind wander so easily.
