In my opinion how? It was proven he had his hand on the police officers weapon while the officer was in the car....that happens how exactly? It was proven he had just robbed a store and it was on video...that is not an opinion. Brown was not innocent as some seem to be jaded enough to believe......he was a thug and died like a thug.....plain and simple. He is not representative of all blacks in any way so I am not sure why all blacks seem to try to take his side.....if I were black I would be distancing myself very far from this crap. It is thug life at its best, only this time it was not another thug shooting him.....it was a cop who shot him.

What they SHOULD be focusing on is how many truly innocent children, under the age of 10 or so, die every year due to gang violence.....not some horrible representative of their race such as Mike Brown.....yeah.....let's pick a thug that was shot to be our reason for wanting justice....brilliant!

I will say the same as I always have......don't break the law and you won't have consequences....cut and dry, plain and simple.

The family only gets a nod that the GJ has made a decision - I don't think they get the outcome. Those in charge are coming out at 4 to acknowledge a decision has been reached.

Michael Brown is innocent, my friend. Innocent until proven guilty. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but to state that it is definitive is erroneous.

Suspect says

....it changed to a justified shooting after brown assaulted the officer in his own vehicle then ran and failed to follow a police order to stop so he could be arrested for breaking the law.

Why would someone run away to a distance of 125 ft from the car and then turn around and charge at an officer that was pointing a gun towards him and why does this account not tie up with what other eye witness have said ?

Look at it this way. They can't go to trial because last I heard, 7 eyewitnesses and one pathologist who reviewed the autopsy evidence all concur Michael Brown had his damn hands up while he was being shot.

The cop is guilty as hell. If they go to trial that will come out. If he is then acquitted, the town will explode. If the grand Jury decides there isn't enough evidence to go to trial that is also like an acquittal (and the town will explode)

Thats why they won't come to a decision… they can't. I hope they are sweating blood…

Meanwhile, behind the scenes they are delaying until the officials are reasonably certain they have complete and total control of anything that might happen before announcing the not guilty verdict. How many cops with guns will it take? Even they don't really know.

Brown suffered a graze wound to the right hand, near his thumb. Particulate matter in the tissue is "consistent with gunshot residue," according to the autopsy.

The only way to have residue on your hand and a wound on your hand is to be close enough to the gun when it is fired......he was shot in the hand while the officer was still in the vehicle, but I guess most would say he was just leaning in to give the officer a hug right?

I predict that regardless of the outcome lots of stupid people around Ferguson will be doing lots of stupid things tonight.... People can feel free to stop by Chicago any time they want to protest for all the blacks who are dying on the streets on the South-West sides of the city...

What I've learned from this story is...

Black man shot by white man = national craze for the black population

Black man shot by black man = they don't seem to care one bit, because if they did they would be protesting every weekend here in Chicago

Why would they riot if the get a verdict they want and would they just not celebrate or is the mind of a black man so much different from your or mine.

Why after a sports team wins do their fans riot and go crazy? When large groups of people get together "mob mentality" quickly sets in and people act stupid. Nothing political or racial about it, people are just stupid and irrational. Add alcohol/drugs, hate, vengeance, and lack of education its even worse. I know there are people who are serious about protesting in a peaceful manor (which is legal and I'm all for) but it gets over powered and overshadowed by the ones who purely want to create trouble. I hate it when people try to excuse or label trouble as protesting. Trouble is trouble pure and simple. Hurting/killing people on purpose, looting, vandalizing property etc its NOT protesting. They aren't there for the cause, but sure as hell will hide behind it to cause trouble and steal stuff. Which only hurts the cause and taints everything. Troublemakers use any opportunity to create havoc and this will be one of them, no matter the outcome. Sadly the peaceful protesters always get caught up with the trouble makers. Once the mob starts moving you can't tell who's who. If only the peaceful protesters would leave or remove themselves from the troublemakers when it starts it would make it clear its not them. You and your cause don't need to be associated with that madness.

I didn't know it had been proven in court or the a lawyer for the prosecution has had an opportunity to clarify that the DNA has not been planted by the police to protect one of their own.

The police are on trial over this one and just because they say something it does not constitute proof

Well they do. They just had one there a couple of months ago. there are lot's of protests, community meetings etc in Chicago about gun violence....yeah it's not every weekend but people are protesting.

Brown's blood was found on Wilson's uniform and inside the police car, law enforcement sources told CNN.

So....planted as well? He was shot with at least part of his body INSIDE the officers car.....

Right...the whole argument that the officer, against all training, pulled the 6 foot however tall, pushing 250-300lb guy into his vehicle by the neck through the window and shot him.....that scenario?

I indeed would scream murder if it was my son and he was shot by police (my son is about the same size and age) at first.

See, my son was raised right. He isn't a thief or a thug. He doesn't walk in the middle of the street to prove he can. He doesn't have a juvenile record we shouldn't discuss. He lived with me or his mother his entire life and was raised in loving respectful households that Brown was lacking.

This is where the hypotheticals diverge and real life cannot equalize. Where one road leads to violent death it makes one pause, on another violent death is expected. Live by the gun, die but the gun makes sense. Live by the plow, die by the gun does not make as much sense so questions are inevitable.

Whitewashing Brown's entire life prior to the moment of his death may help your storyline of "all police are racist scum", but it does not mean that it leads to a factual tale of events.
