I believe there were TWO statues of liberty: a model and the final one that was shipped to New York. I believe it was a gift from France to the USA. The model still can be found in France.

Actually, there are many places where a replica of the statue of liberty can be found. There is even one in China.

The one with young Bill Clinton shaking JFK's and is striking. Bill looks at him as if dude I am going to have your job some day. Compare Bill's energy with the other people in the photo. He is totally on top even at that age.
