Hi everyone ..this is my first post so hello!

I've been hearing on the news here in Canada a lot about how Mr. Dubya is 'disappointed' that Canada, its 'long time friend' didn't go to war against Iraq with the US. I just found it highly amusing how he treats our country like crap and then has the audacity to say he is disappointed in us.

When 9/11 happened, Canada took all those planes in the air in, compromising our security. We housed and fed all those people on those planes only to be repaid by Mr. Dubya inviting over Mr. Blair and announcing to the world that England was its greatest ally.

Is that any way to treat a 'long time friend'?

Payback's a B@*&^!

Right on, and welcome

I told you joining would be fun

I think bush should have kept his mouth shut about well...everything, Britains taking most of the political heat from this operation, and as of tonight "Uncle Tony" has promised he will prove that WMD's did exist...with REAL intelligence sources...
I dont think bush should have asked canada, we all know chretain wouldnt have it due to chiracs whinefest and the fact that a canadian may actually die from a war. Which would be unthinkable. Still, you're a friend of America and Britain...and thanks for not totally denouncing Gulf party 2003

Apathetic is the mood of the year for canada

well thats another thing that annoys me! those four canadian soldiers that died in Afganistan in friendly American fire. The way they dealt with that was nothing short of disgusting!

Did Mr. Dubya just expect us to forget all this crap and kiss his butt?

No he didnt, but you committed troops to that war and when you commit troops, you take the chance that they'll come home in a coffin.
Thats war.
