the four quarters

hello ATS this is my first thread if its in the wrong place I apoligize, its something I thought of after the attack on the jewish synagogue I notice that four religions claim almost the same area, could it be possible that its the same power all four prey to? or is it just a coincidence jesus was crucified there, didn't mohammed rise to heaven from there, and the significance of the area which was said to have been king solomans temple for the jewish faith, and the Armenians that live and worship there?
