Maybe its neutralized by the CYANATE! lol. I wonder what the safety of the compounds (burning, nonetheless) actually is. Neither even sounds like something one could obtain without ending up on both the no-fly and the probable meth-lab lists.

Maybe it's like B vitamins. Scary sounding components actually rendered safe when combined. I dunno, but now I'm curious.

For what it's worth, I tried to create "black snakes" as a home experiment.

I used powdered sugar, baking soda, and isopropyl alcohol as described on this "How To Make Black Snakes or Glow Worms" educational website.

It was a spectacular disappointment. My "snakes" were more like bubbles that grew only about a quarter of an inch.
