As far as I remember NASA tracked something which just grazed our atmosphere it had come in from deep space and continued on out they ( nasa )speculated that it could have been some sort of probe? it wasn't an asteroid as it changed direction

well I`m not familiar with it but I see there is plenty of stuff on the net about it so I`m sure I`ll tell you what I think soon.

There's a book out there by the New York Times reporter Howard Bloom (Blum?) that details this case, and the military's reaction to it. It's called OUT THERE. The funniest part in it is when the pentagon calls this retired general in to talk about what he thinks it is. After giving this dramatic speech about how we need to actively search for ETs and try to either contact them or arm-up against them, he sits down at the 'big table', under the assumption that he's going to be put in charge of the task force or whatever... well, they eventually have to almost escort him out after just blowing him off
A funny scene.

oops, to clarify..

Fast Walker was an object that NORAD detected going in, and out, of our atmosphere in 1984 thru the use of one of its early warning satellites. Though nasa was brought into the discussion as to what it was, all the detection and tracking was done by the military.

seems to be pretty much it. Can`t see that there is any further info on it but that. I wonder if they have the ability to track objects into deep space?

Not heard of this one before and you`ve piqued my interest with it, so I`ve emailed Stan Freidman to see if there is much else to be said about this, will let you know if and when I get a reply.

The NSA has secretly launched quite a number of deep space satellites/probes that the public "sort of knows about" but I'm sure there are a bunch that we don't have any clue about.

A quick search on google.com gave me this link as I had removed the page on AboveTopSecret.com about it.

Also check out the 18th Space Surveillance Squadron, another deep space tracking organisation.

well Freidman has replied and has no new info but he has given me the email of another UFO researcher who may be able to help, so I`ll see what he has to say and let you know.

well he has nothing to say either.
