I didn't vote today.

New to the area, wasn't able to register in time.

So hate on me.

I live in a blue state anyways. I'm back behind enemy lines.

I didn't vote today either, I took a nap instead of voting. My wife went to vote though, she chose some of the candidates by the name they had. She said if she doesn't know anything about them she chooses the one with the nicest sounding name.

Wow...just wow...
Tell her to at least flip a coin.

We have been married for over thirty years. I have learned that trying to change her way of thinking does not turn out so good. She's gone out and bought a six hundred dollar vacuum when I tried to convince her to think differently.

I don't even know how to reply to your post.

Why bother going to vote if you don't know anything about the people running? Does she like the pretty little sticker they give you that much?

Nothing like putting people you have absolutely no idea about in charge of making rules about how your going to live.

Ooooh, I never even thought about the cute little sticker, I have to go vote for sure next time.

But, we know most of the politicians are corrupt or corrupted when they get into office anyway. They have to make deals with the devil to get things for the people in their district. This is what is the most disturbing thing in politics, it leads to a lot of waste of taxpayer money. If they want to satisfy their voters there is a deal to make.

No matter who gets elected, they usually turn out bad in the big picture of the nation even if they initially have good intentions. I've known a few politicians and they were good people but had to vote for things that would have been against their principles before taking office. I don't think half of the politicians are actually bad, but the whole system is askew.

The last 6 years dismantled the middle class already.

Now at least things might actually stabilize and reverse course.

Thank God for the Religious Right and the Tea Party.

That has to be, without a shadow of a doubt, the MOST honest post I've ever seen from you!

Thank you.

Talk about a poor choice of words. How about something a bit more positive instead like, "Yes we won!!". "It's all over" isn't exactly the best slogan to hear coming from the side that has such irrational fears about Gays Agendas, Christian Persecution, Social Healthcare and Immigrants. Especially when those same fearful folks also Love War, Firearms and Biblical Morality.

But, congratulations all you Republicans and Conservatives out there, it was certainly a big win for you!!

Now, all I ask is that you don't kill us all trying to defeat those "Imaginary Gay Demons and God Hating Atheists" you all seem to think are lurking around every corner.

Anyone remember the scene in Reservoir Dogs with the Cop tied to the chair begging Mr. Blonde not to torture him and Blonde responds with, "I don't care what you know and what you don't know. I'm gonna torture you anyway."

I get that same sinking feeling as that cop did when I read statement above.

That was damn right hilarious.

As opposed to those irrational fears about them evil rich people, bankers, corporations, and guns.

Pretty much that comment was calling the kettle black. LOL.

Wow.

Well I will take the blame for this outrage.

I've been shouting loud enough against Democrats and Progressives.

How was I supposed to know millions of people would listen?

Some are genuine Conservatives, but I didn't see any in my Illinois districts.

Except for the fact that Evil Rich People, Bankers (which is redundant with the first one), corporations and guns actually exist.

Gay Agendas and Christian Persecutions I think are still classified as Myth from what I can see. But even if they were real, they're far less dangerous than "Evil Rich Christian Corporations with Guns."

As for the Immigrants and Social Healthcare I'll call it a wash...
