Its thinking out of the box sure, but its also a huge pathway for infection and other nastiness.
I like the Japanese invention that harnesses the vibrations from a stadium´s stands and converts that into energy. Maybe on sidewalks in a metropolitan city, have platforms that harness the vibrations for a local energy grid.
