When FOX News is the voice of reason...

Hello ATS,

This Ebola plague has been running rampant on our favorite alternative news website also known as ATS for quite some time now.
At least twenty threads a day, some valued updates whereas others bring nothing but fear to the audience.
This is obviously to be blamed by the ratings-prostitutes within all forms of media outlets.

What I am about to show you, may shock you. So set down your glass of beer or milk, because for the first time in history FOX News is going to present you with intelligible facts:





Now of course, one could easily suggest the "Go back to sleep America, your country is under control" philosophy in which FOX is merely spreading calm before the storm.
Instead, I would entertain the viewpoint that the MSM has been waiting for the spike of this Ebola-fad to wind down before they begin presenting facts to the public in a calm and collected way. Freak you out, then calm you down.

Never the less, I hope you enjoy the segment. I absolutely promote healthy debate on this,

its already been posted quite awhile ago...and its still missing several facts...like more people have died in 2 months than all ebola together in the entire recorded history...

and the fact that this is gonna cost us probably trillions of dollars by the time its done...even if it only kills 50,000...which i would consider to be a pretty dang big deal...

but go ahead and keep telling yourself its nothing...we will find out in a year for sure...and all the ats posts will be here archived for history

Would be scary what these fools would say if there was an actually serious epidemic. Anyone with a cold would get scooped up and sent to a "specialized camp"

Ebola is a life-threatening disease running rampant in Africa. Africa does not have the same infrastructure as the U.S, though it does not change the fact that all life-threatening diseases are a big deal and nothing to take lightly.

Trillions of dollars? Where did you get those numbers? I'd be really interested to see a source on that one.

Lastly, I'm not suggesting that "it is nothing". What I am saying is, fearporn is not going to protect our loved ones from any illness or disease- in fact it is detrimental to it.

trillions of dollars is my own opinion...i bet we have already spend a billion...it cost a lot of money to support 4000 soldiers and to deploy them to africa....and include all the lawsuits that are coming...include all the upgrades of infrastructure...mexico alone just bought like 4000 beds to deal with level 4 containment...that had to cost a pretty penny...

im talking globally...and i think globally...not just of the usa..america will be fine cause of the infrastructure....but this is gonna cost a lot of money to deal with...if they shut down flights companies could be losing millions a day...add in all avenues...all of them...and id wager this will cost earth trillions of dollars easy.

Also, you've gotta love Shep, but some of what he says falls short. There 'have been two 'outbreaks' now in the US. Medically, the development of just a single case of Ebola is classified as an outbreak.

And, we here at ATS at least, understand 'the lie by omission'. And, we should always be alarmed, and say something when we see that. Do we need twenty threads a day. I think not, but I don't read them if the title lacks appeal.

D'ya mean Fox News? if so you could be right. Let's see now, was there much mention of infection mentioned? any specifics about control as against risk..AKA where does it come from and where does it go? What are the symptoms and how do they compare to a bacterial infection..nope nana. The anchor is just being silly, and hoping it will keep his investments stable. Hopefully, those with the real responsibilities will make him seem Prophetic by doing their job, and instead of him being kicked in the arse will end up a hero, just by saying feck all.
