I missed the press conference update on the NYC Ebola patient but I saw on Fox News ticker at the bottom that states Andrew Cuomo, the governor, said the doctor had a fever of 100.3, NOT 103!! What?!! Seriously?!
This reeks of cover-up!

Good to know they didn't see it!
I wasn't aware that the virus was visible to the naked eye.....?....
Hopefully they will show us a picture of it so we can all be on the lookout.

Still wondering if they're 1.) going to move him and 2.) getting Brantly blood.
If he's as sick as that one nurse reported as saying, how late is too late for blood plasma measures? Honestly curious? I wonder if the WHO even knows. I'm sure they'll try it anyway. And poor Brantly, he's given so much blood at this point, by the time the year is over, he'll be recognized as the biggest donor of the year by the Red Cross! I'm almost hoping Doctor Idiot isn't Brantly's blood type, but maybe Nurse Whitehall(?)'s to give poor Brantly a break! Every time you see him in the media he looks like a pale, gaunt ghost! Give the man time to get over Ebola for crying out loud! It's not like the flu where you're up and about and flush the next week. (or is it???)

I have to wonder is it REALLY Dr. Brantly 's blood they keep receiving? I know there are limits on how often you can donate, but I don't know the details. It sure seems humanly impossible, especially since Dr. Brantly is still supposedly recovering, to give that much blood. And add to that the article I read about the 80-100 viles of proven vaccine that a Canadian company had made and was ready to go years before now, that can be assumedly be used for treatment also. What did all the patients EXCEPT Duncan really receive ?

You can supposedly only donate once a month. At least that's what the news reported. So weird, right?
How often can I donate plasma? The body replaces the plasma removed during the donation process quickly; therefore, healthy individuals can donate as often as twice in a seven-day period, with at least one day between donations.

I totally jumped to the back of the line to post, will make sure to read the entire thread later..
Being a Texan, I am curious to see how NY handles this. I really truly hope this is just an isolated case. Because having to deal with" people who might have been in contact " game isn't fun at all.

Hey guys, ive been seeing on facebook that a school district here on long island has gone into quarantine lockdown after a students family member returned from new guinea.
The child supposedly shows no symptoms and her and the school quarantine are just a precaution. I am on my mobile so I don't have any references and i'm not sure if saying the district and/or school names would violate T&C.
