So much for the doctors, governor and mayor saying they're so much better than Dallas. Doesn't look it to me.

Thats just NY way of saying they have more experience in lies and cover ups than Texas.

Maybe I'm splitting hairs but, the officer lays the roll of tape on the trunk of the patrol car, whips his gloves off (I didn't notice if he removed them properly or not), then picks the roll of tape back up without his gloves....?

I was in Canada a few days ago visiting family when a morning news report came on, showed and stated that the Duncan family was free of Ebola and released. The family is angry because due to the quarantine their home had been "cleaned" and yet they cannot return, they're essentially homeless now. So they are looking to sue.

After the report we kind of looked around at each other like, this supposed Ebola scare is more than likely a hoax.

Meanwhile Texas Health, or whoever it is, is giving them 6 months rent and security deposit to help them find a new place and get their life back together. Considering one rumor I heard was that they were in eviction proceedings to begin with due to late rent and a filthy apartment BEFORE the Ebola fiasco, (if true), they should consider themselves blessed. As well donations pouring in to replace their belongings they lost in sanitation. How about instead of suing (Who are they going to sue? Mom's fiancé who almost infected all of them, because he thought he could get cured here in the states? Too late, not to speak ill of the deceased, but you can't sue a ghost.) Sue Jessie or Al. They've got plenty to go around and don't really give a rat's behind about you, only increasing their popularity.

A shining example of New York's superior skills in sterile technique!
I'll bet the Czar will be all over this, writing scripts for NYC bigmouths, explaining that the officers weren't near Dr. Ebola or his apartment or, if they were near, they didn't touch a darn thing.
Spin. Redirect. Repeat.
Whew, we can all exhale in relief.

I'd like to know how the officials at the CDC plan to do contact tracing in the NY subway system.....because it would be impossible. Let's hope this doctor didn't tap a hooker on the way home. I'm not panicking......but trying the think through the what if he was contagious on the subway and infected 3 other people. They will never find those people until they are taken to the hospital. By that time who knows how many will be infected.

And Butcherguy - stop hating cats!

He's expected to give a statement at 11:30 EST

Editor's note: New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is scheduled to give an update on Ebola patient Craig Spencer at 11:30 am ET, according to @NYCMayorsOffice.

But first he had to do this.

They'll announce that Ebola Doc wasn't exhibiting symptoms, and back up this statement with a fictional timeline of events. But due to "an abundance of caution," an Ebola team is going over security tapes at this very moment, doing facial recognition, and every person who rode on the Ebola train will be notified to take their temps twice daily.

Privately, the officials will wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills first.

Just curious as to how they know for certain that she is %100 virus free. Many informative posts so far have revealed that the virus can reside in breast milk and semen for up to 90 days I believe after recovery. Are they completely certain she won't pass it along?

FYI - I was only reporting what the news clip was saying. Regarding the family themselves It's possible they're selfish and lousy tenants however I still don't think Ebola is what's at play here. We may never really know what T.Duncan died from but I don't think it was Ebola IMO. Too many people are coming up Ebola free or being "cured" from it.

Are we serious right now??? You do know they don't want cops to have an IQ over 70-100, right? Just to give some perspective, my autistic daughter who is missing part of her brain has an IQ of 50. That is moderate mental retardation. Here is a Retardation Score Chart With IQ Levels to give you perspective on the people we have with guns. (As a mother I despise the word, really, it's theirs, not mine.)

I was thinking the same thing. Rather odd Duncan and the Spanish preist and I also believe German patient has died.

But most odd to me is that Duncan died, no blood transfusion due to no match but everyone else (I believe 9 now in US) was a blood match of some kind...... odd indeed. Since this is a conspiracy site, I feel comfy in saying I think something is not quite right with the Duncan story.

Great way to help spread the love especially to the homeless! Unbelievable that the medics who are supposedly trained on their waste with Ebola would intentionally dispose of their contaminated gear in a public trash can! What part of a serious threat do they not understand!!!

Those are cops Runforthehills. We don't like them smart enough to pass a medic exam. We want nothing over a 100 IQ because quote, "They might get bored and move on to a another job." I'm sure it has nothing to do with being shot at or seeing brutality in their job at ALL!
