Maybe this is the King Whale of the ocean!!!!

His frequency is different because he is the King, he puts a shout out to all the other whales at certain times in the year to let them all know to just keep it real

or maybe not..still, I hope he sticks around long enough for us to do more research.

"Research" has a rather, err, euphemistic meaning when applied to whales, so I hope this one isn't subject to that sort of "research", but I know what you meant by it, so no worries there.

its a very sad though to even hint about the last of a species, it tells everyone to make a stand for conservation of our wildlife and natural resources.

I read aboutthis the other day, some scientists think it may be a product of crosbreeding between two different but similar Baleen species. Whether this is possible or not i'm not sure, i'm no marine biologist, but its food for thouht.

My inclination is that it has a speech disorder, like a human stutter or something similar.

unlike any other whale.........well, could quite possibly be a new species.

Could this whale have some sort of growth, or benign tumor, that affects it's vocalizations?

Perhaps 10 years or so ago, there was a birth of a new species and this whale is not really alone, perhaps he is just the "elder" (not very eld at only 10 years old or so) so to speak, he sings and the others follow?

Either which way, I do believe it should be found and non-invasively studied. That is quite a bit higher than the normal frequency range, 52 hertz vs. 15-20 hertz.

Last of its herd, given birth to 10 years ago?

Or perhaps it is not even a whale, maybe its Godzilla!!!
