I think seeing a revolving door between the ACLU and the DOJ is another overlooked but very important point of the article

In all fairness I see much less of an issue with a revolving door between the ACLU and the DOJ than between Goldman Sachs and the Federal Reserve.

Obama is the biggist BSer on Earth. He lies millions of times what makes u think he is telling the truth this time. For all I know he likes to pander to popular ideas then does the opposite when he gets his way.

Your argument is flawed, in my opinion. Most people who would want to consume canabis products already consume them. I don't think we will see a surge in use, and a resulting pacification of this great country's diverse population. THC has a relaxation effect very similar to alcohol. Has alcohol pacified our nation?
