There sure are a lot of facilities. I'm pretty certain, they have plans on using them. No? I mean, who would build a place like that and not plan on using it? Question is: how will they feed everyone??? I can see how they'll get everyone to go, but what are the plans, regarding food? (/endsarcasm) I know for certain, they exist. The one i saw, (when i was traveling on Amtrak, from NY to Diego), was located in the middle of nowhere; somewhere in the Midwest. It was roughly 30 yards from the train tracks. The conductor said the name, over the intercom, but i wasn't really paying attention, so i can't recall it. I do remember, thinking to myself....why is there an empty prison, along the tracks, out in the boondocks? Ain't nowhere to escape. Nothing but vacant land, as far as the eye could see. That also had me scratching my head, thinking......why is there so much unused land here? The whole trip, was nothing but green pastures, until i got to the major cities, like K.C., Pittsburgh, Chicago, etc, etc.

So, why do they need to depopulate the Earth, when there's so much land that isn't being used???

This seems to be from this Google maps page created by somebody named Todd in 2010.

FEMA Concentration Camps (2 pages) Created by me from the follwing website; www.mindfully.org... Check out Pier 57(on page 2)in NYC first, to get an idea of how these camps will be used. Google REX-84 to see how all this started.

If you take the time to start reading the info for each individual entry the spuriousness of the claim starts to become pretty tangible.

They don't--I'm thinking that you're mixing up the words "need" and "want." Governments and certain ideologies want to do this for myriad reasons, but none of them need to.

The way I see it (and I don't think the U.S. would ever come to what you're implying would happen), the fewer the people, the easier it is to control them. No government is really about anything other than control when you scratch deeper than the surface--most political parties, too--so I think it has to do with keeping the population manageable.

What happens when prisoners get tired of their treatment and realize there are way less LEOs than prisoners who want out?

No, it is just a hoax. Try investigating some of them - like

Aliceville, AL Last Updated by Todd on Nov 15, 2008 WWII German POW camp - capacity 15,000 Ft. McClellan (Anniston) - Opposite side of town from Army Depot.

When we check we find en.wikipedia.org...

It closed on September 30, 1945.[2] The camp was dismantled and sold for scrap after the war,[3] and its only remaining trace is an old stone chimney.

So they are going to fit 15,000 people in a chimney?

They could if they build a new wall around it.

So they're going to fit 500,000 people just outside of Valdez? The "map" says no road, but you can clearly see the Richardson Highway next to the pin drop. Besides, that would be almost the entire population of Alaska.

Nope, there are no FEMA camps around my parts that I am aware of. Sorry Charlies.

I called my local Homeland Security office a while back when the whole FEMA camp and coffin farm video was going around and just straight up ask them about it. I explained to the guy that answered the phone about the videos (we both laughed) and, he said "those are make shift prisons so we don't have another Katrina on our hands with murderer's, rapist or worse running through the streets, should a another natural disaster happen, because they never know when or where one can strike".
Then I asked about the coffin farms and he said "that is for people who pre-pay for funerals, you pay and they get made but you aren't dead so they have to put them somewhere" he also added that "many were for troops/soldiers to, they can't say wait we have to make you a coffin".

I do know my mom has pre-paid for all of our funerals and all her grand kids to, so that made sense to me. Furthermore you have factories that make coffins and liners 5 days a week, they have to put them somewhere, just like when a car factory makes cars, they park them until a dealer/lot order's them.

I remember watching Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura and saw the episode he did with (IIRC) Alex Jones about Fema Camps. I like the show and all, but I couldn't help but shake my head at some of the stretching they had to do in order to pitch their plotline.

The idea of massive Fema Camps is entertaining, and I will concede that FEMA most likely has several emergency camps set up for natural disasters but realistically there doesn't seem to be a lot of evidence to back up the theories running around out there about thousands of camps all over the US

It's amazing because all one has to do is contact Vantage( the manufacturer) and ask them they would tell you and explain the whole process as to why they have so many, but of course that would stop that conspiracy dead in it's tracks. Which is why they tend to popup when something like this happens.

What's funny is I have worked their and watched them run those liners, so when I see the FEMA coffins posts I get a good laugh.

But since people like Alex Jones are able to keep this going new people will bite everyday.
