Breaking news on the BBC news channel just coming in. Two US citizens have
been shot one is dead by a gunmen in the Saudi capital ryhadh. the gunman has been arrested. not much more details to add

There was actually some political unrest several years ago in Riyadh where I believe 20+ malcontents were rounded up.... no telling what happened to them. I spent about 3 months there flying a Lear Jet before I could get out of that desert town and spend the rest of my time in Jeddah as a home base. It will be interesting to find out who did what and for what reason the killing was done ?

The guys must have been contractors or expats working for the big bucks.. RIP

As you say it will be interesting to find out what reason(s) are given. I am sure this will not be given the exposure it deserves due to the relations both our nations have with the Saudi regime
