Well ... kudos to the person for calling the hospital ahead of time and letting everyone get prepared and for going straight there. That's a heck of a lot better than that Dallas Deputy who gave no warning and went to a walk in clinic and then had to be transported to the hospital. The Ottawa person is using a lot more common sense.

Wasn't the deputy told to drive himself?
He went to a health care clinic and surprised them. They, in turn, had to get him transportation to the hospital. If the deputy had been sick with Ebola, he would have spread it all over the place. The Ottawa person is exhibiting more common sense.

a reply to: tothetenthpower will follow this story, good the guy called ahead...the dallas cop, he was told to go somewhere if he had symptoms.....I thought it was dumb that they didn 't have a special place or call ahead if the dallas exposed people showed symptoms.
