and finally, the minimal damage done by the rockets, seven civilian deaths over the entire period, is too small a security threat to qualify as “an armed attack” as is required by the UN Charter to uphold a claim of self-defense.
“The repression from Israel is the worst form of Apartheid. Nobody has the faintest idea of what is going on here, even the best informed people. Everything is in pieces, the land is destroyed and nothing else may be planted. All this smells like a boot camp, like Auschwitz. The israeli have turned into NAZI JEWS”

Maybe they should have though first before trying to invade and wipe Israel off the map.. In case you forgot, and me thinks you have, Israel returned territory captured in exchange for recognition of Israel and a peace treaty.
That included the Golan heights, which Syria refused.
The Sinai was returned to Egypt in exchange for recognition and a peace treaty.
Jordan signed a peace treaty and recognized Israel. The West Bank was left under Israeli control with the caveat it be used as part of a Palestinian state.
Gaza was the same...
An independent state is not going to happen when the group controlling is Hamas, whose stated goal is the destruction of Israel.
There have been multiple times where Palestine could have been its own independent state. Several Arab nations who hate Israel saw to it that never occurred.
Has it ever occurred to you that there might be an independent Palestinian state had Hamas not been trying to kill every Israeli they come across?
You guys blame Israel while ignoring the other parties involved. It takes 2 to tango.
..any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
(a) Genocide;
(b) Conspiracy to commit genocide;
(c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide;
(d) Attempt to commit genocide;
(e) Complicity in genocide.

This statement alone proves how ridiculous this is...........
It doesnt matter how many people the rockets killed.......
You take any other country in the world and you have another country launch ANY type of rocket into its city and the one that shot the rockets will be retaliated against with extreme predjudice.......
For them to even state this is as disengenous as it gets......

That was probably the dumbest thing I have heard all year. Regardless of the amount of damage caused by HAMAS rockets, just the fact that they were fired at Israel automatically dictates the death of 2000 people that had nothing to do with the rockets.
Your not even right in the head are you?

It doesnt matter if you find it dumb or not its the truth.........
there is no country out there that if bombed wouldnt retaliate with bombs and most with an air campaign.....
And there wouldnt be any warning knocks either.....
Someone def needs to get in the right head.........that would be the people who think anyone should just sit there when rockets are being launched at their city.....
It is not Israel's city. I know Israel just wants everyone to move on from that fact but it is still a fact. Nearly all the land Israel is on today was taken by military force which is a little bit illegal. By Israel's logic, Afghanistan is a US state now because they attacked the US so their land is forfeit... right?
The Merneptah Stele—also known as the Israel Stele or Victory Stele of Merneptah—is an inscription by the Ancient Egyptian king Merneptah (reign: 1213 to 1203 BC) discovered by Flinders Petrie in 1896 at Thebes, and now housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.[1][2] The text is largely an account of Merneptah's victory over the Libyans and their allies, but the last 3 of the 28 lines deal with a separate campaign in Canaan, then part of Egypt's imperial possessions. While alternative translations have been put forward, the majority of biblical archeologists translate a set of hieroglyphs on Line 27 as "Israel", such that it represents the first documented instance of the name Israel in the historical record,[2] and the only mention in Ancient Egypt.[3] As a result, some consider the stele to be Flinders Petrie's most famous discovery,[4] an opinion with which Petrie himself concurred.[5]

When you attack another nation with your army and they push you back, dont be surprised if they dont give you your ground back....should have thought about it before you tried to invade them..
Not even remotely considered Genocide!!! Hamas and the rest of the Terrorist groups in Gaza do not get any money from Iran and other nations unless they are striking at Israel

JUS COGENS
Under international law, some laws are accorded the status of Jus cogens, which means that in case of conflict, they override other laws.Many commentators agree that the duty to prevent genocide must be considered jus cogens. Indeed, it would be difficult to articulate a more fundamental principle than the prevention of genocide.
The record is clear that Suarez (Francisco Súarez, a scholar and Jesuit who is recognized as a founder of modern international law[) strongly believed in a natural human right of self-defense. Self-defense, said Suarez, was “ ‘the greatest of rights,’ ” a right which belonged to individuals and to communities. This right of self-defense included a right of defense against tyrants.
Accordingly, the legal duty to prevent genocide would be superior to whatever limits the U.N. Charter sets on military action which is not authorized by the Security Council. Similarly, the legal duty to prevent genocide would be superior to treaties or conventions restricting the transfer or possession of arms.
The human rights organization Genocide Watch has created a model of the eight stages of genocide: classification, symbolization, dehumanization, organization, polarization, preparation, extermination, and denial.
At the least, the precautionary principle should authorize arms acquisition by victims when a genocidal government has advanced to the stage of “preparation.”
Of course there may be good faith uncertainty about whether a particular government really has entered the preparation stage. After all, governments intent on genocide almost never make candid announcements about their intentions.
And sometimes third parties will, for reasons of their own, remain willfully blind to genocidal preparations;
We do suggest that once a morally accountable person —such as a head of state, a diplomat, a judge, or any other
person— makes a good faith determination that a particular government has entered the preparation stage of genocide, then the moral person should immediately refrain from any action (..) which might interfere with the ability of the targeted genocide victims to arm themselves defensively.
Rather, we argue that international law, as it presently exists, forbids the denial of arms to people currently suffering from genocide. We also agree with the dissenting judges for the 1951 International Court of Justice opinion, that “the enormity of the crime of genocide can hardly be exaggerated, and any treaty for its repression deserves the most generous interpretation.”
Accordingly, the fundamental human right of self-defense against genocide should be applied to cases where genocide has reached the extermination stage, and also to cases where genocide preparation has begun.
Conclusion
Kofi Annan spoke eloquently: “Throughout the world, the victims of violence and injustice are waiting; waiting for us to keep our word. They notice when we use words to mask inaction. They notice when laws that should protect them are not applied . . . . Let our generation not be found wanting.”
In this Article, we have shown that, under existing international
law, genocide victims are not obliged to wait for foreign governments or world organizations to rescue them.
According to normative principles of international law and according to positive international law, genocide victims have a fundamental human right to use armed force to resist genocide. Because the prohibition of genocide is a peremptory
jus cogens norm of international law, any local, national, or international laws or government actions which interfere with self-defense by genocide victims are necessarily unlawful. In particular, arms control laws which may be generally valid may not be enforced against genocide victims or against persons who supply arms to genocide victims; enforcement would make the enforcing court or other state agency complicit in genocide.
Any interference—including interference under color of law— with the self-defense rights of genocide victims constitutes a grave violation of the most fundamental of all international and moral laws.

This is where you can tell there is such bias.......its albout hate for Israel.......because......
Why arent they accusing ISIS of genocide? They are trying to wipe out every Christian and non-hardline muslim everywhere they go......
They are LITERALLY beheading women and children.........
not a peep about genocide from the Palestinian supporters about ACTUAL GENOCIDAL INTENTION happening just across the way......
And they are attacking the Kurds to try to wipe them out...
NOTHING from these Terrorist supporting hacks.......nothing about the REAL genocide from people who have killed WAY more this last few MONTHS then the whole Israeli conflict did when it flared up this year..........
(not pointed to youPatriots) You guys with your anti Israel bullcrap , while ignoring the real genocidal maniacs beheading children make me sick....
You should be ashamed of yourselves
Holy crap!! You just justified Israel's actions by comparing Israel to ISIS?
You take any other country in the world and you have another country launch ANY type of rocket into its city and the one that shot the rockets will be retaliated against with extreme predjudice.......
I pointed out the fact that there is REAL genocide going on by ISIS and no one seems up in arms about it.....
Instead they are using the word as a hot button phrase again Israel, when its clearly NOT genocide..
Seriously wheres the outrage from the Muslim Extremist who are literally committing genocide.
You have a clear and present example of what genocide is really like happening RIGHT NOW, but you want to accuse Israel of it?
