Translation of the first one minute forty seven seconds of this program.
"The war in Iraq does not seem to be over al all, but in the meantime the rebuilding has already started. This has unleashed fiercecompetition for
contracts, which are mainly awarded to American (ed: U.S.) companies.
What is remarkable about these companies, is that they have people on their payroll from American politics and the military. Is this a conflict of
interest, or is this the new global way of doing business?
[text in the screen at this time reads: 'the iron triangle']
One of the companies that operates in this manner is the Carlyle Group."
On their payroll are people like : George Bush (Sr.), James Baker III and old premier John Major.
The Carlyle Group is a private investment bank which doesn't come to the publics attention very often but it is one of the biggest American (ed: USA)
investors of the defense industry, telecom, property and financial services.
What is the Carlyle Group? Who are the people behind the name? And how much power does Carlyle have?
This program was broadcast on VPRO Netherlands TV: ETA this piece is a good update to what is and is not happening .

The Brits were caught transporting Taliban fighters in the Afghanistan war [/post]
You do realize it comes from Iranian Press TV. Now why do you think the Iranians would like to weave a story to discredit UK forces in Afghanistan?
Hmmmm?
In the original hash of the story under the headline with UK Army in it they claim that the helicopters used were Chinooks. The British Army doesn't
even operate Chinooks.
They should allow the resupply and reinforcement of Kobani.
Many are willing to do that, and Turkey are stopping it, they are essentially providing part of the siege on the town.
By all signs Turkey are secretly supporting ISIS, and they want the Kurdish people to suffer this defeat.
If the ISIS butchers take the town a massacre will ensue and Turkey will share the responsibility. Erdogan is stalling for time, the longer it takes
for Turkey to make a decision the better the chances of an ISIS victory, the Turkish parliament has voted to take action, but nothing has yet been
done. This is criminal given that the fate of Kobani hangs by a thread. Turkey has a lot to answer for, and the Kurdish people have every right to be
outraged.
My thoughts and prayers are with the people defending Kobani.

So often the truth gets debunked by distortion only later to be found to be true . Take the UN helicopter operating in the Ukraine conflict .In the
Taliban incident one would have to conclude that it was their own helicopter operating and therefor not the Brits .Kind of like the war on drugs using
the US military to guard the poppy fields . sad , very sad . a reply to: tommyjo
