Avatar has changed by itself.

I have been posting some evidence about vaccines and notice that somehow my avatar has been changed, and not by me. I know that some "older" members was making claims about my avatar and I proved that he was wrong about his claims. So I am not even sure what is happening here. Did a staff member delete my avatar?

It looks like you might have captured a screen shot to post in a thread and accidentally gotten it set up as your profile background. Especially if you have uploaded a screenshot from the CDC recently.

Just go into your account, uploads, and reselect the previous avatar or background and that should fix it.

No problem. With computers these days brushing a single key by accident can wreak all sorts of havok. It happens to me at least a few times a week - though usually, in my case, it results in hours worth of writing just disappearing into the ether. LOL

Oh man. that sucks. I have some things like that happen in the past, and it was frustrating. the worse part is that in some instances that I was aware and was ready for some of those errors, but not for others.

Heff is right (I know he likes hearing that). I know, because I have done it myself. It took me a bit to figure out what had happened. You accidentally hit one of those tiny boxes on top of the photos when you were copying/pasting your photos for your thread/post.

You just have to go back in and find your avatar picture and click on one of those tiny buttons again.

Try popping over here : www.abovetopsecret.com... and asking one of the good folks to help you out if Heffs good advice does not fix your dilemma

I am pretty crap with my avatar too and had some great help from the boys and girls over there

It looks like it's as Heff said.

If you right-click your avatar space there and select "view image info" you'll find your "background" image is this:
files.abovetopsecret.com...

So, you loaded a chart on immunization schedules as your background image and because it's so big, it's only showing that grey border part of it.
