This isn't the first or the last Ebola outbreak. But so fair this has been the most serious. The only other airborne Ebola is the Restin? strain. Now if the Restin and this current strain of Ebola get together we have a super strain. Some say the Restin Ebola was from a pig farm but others say it was from a primate house like zoo.



Here is the recent CDC memo sent out to medical workers: Ebola Care This is from August, so it may have changed.

Ebola is a virus. They mutate. It's what they do.

Yes, it could become airborne, but it could also mutate to become less lethal, too. Let's not forget that the airborne strain in the monkey house lost the ability to infect humans in mutating to become airborne.

So, yes, it could mutate, and instead of fixating on the nightmare scenario as the only possible one, we should also remember that a mutation could be helpful to us, too.
